Refreshing your website

Refreshing your website keeps you relevant, helps you match customer exceptions and realigns your digital store front with your evolving business.

A great way to tell if you need a redesign is to ask your team what they think of your company website. If the answer is: it sucks - then redesign it.

Here's a list of reasons to help you decide why it might suck and why a redesign maybe considered.

  • It looks outdated
  • Doesn’t work on mobile devices
  • Content isn’t relevant anymore
  • Content and structure are out-of-date
  • Lead-Gen is substandard
  • Difficult to update content
  • Poor ranking
  • Hosting is complex & costly
  • It's slow
  • GDPR compliance
  • Unsure how you handle security threats
  • Low Google PageSpeed Insights Score

Research suggests: 94% of first impressions are design-related.

At the WGN, we try to update ours every 1-2 years. We're always surprised how our business today is very different to when we last redesigned.
